Shipping Policy
We aim to ship any in stock items within 2-4 business days from our closest holding centres across Canada (sometimes same day). We are a small team who value your business, and will take care to prioritize your order for you. Pre-orders begin shipping once items are completed at our supplier.
Canadian Orders
Orders are primarily shipped via Canada Post or FedEx. Delivery times are approximately 5-6 business days, or 6-8 business days for East Coast orders. Please include a buzzer number for apartments if available.
For Canadian customers choosing Canada Post Expedited Parcel, please note that this is their standard service. UPS Expedited is our expedited option.
U.S. Orders
Orders are primarily shipped via FedEx. PO Box orders may have a longer processing time and ship via FedEx.
For our valued Customers in the US: Due to ongoing revisions in tariff policy imposed by US customs, your order may be subject to duties, and/or other charges upon delivery. We remain committed to not raising our prices, and maintain transparency with you, as we value the trust you place in our products. Tariffs are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend reviewing local policies with your local customs office for more information before placing an order.
We have not increased our own pricing, as we remain committed to creating effective and easy to use tools, accessible to all. Thank you for your continued support of Canadian small business!
If tariffs come into effect, we will be switching to Expedited services only to the US with a 2-3 business day transit time once an order ships.
International Orders
Orders are primarily shipped via FedEx and take about 6-8 business days to arrive, but delivery times vary between destination countries and regions. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Please note that any customs, duties or taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please make sure that you double check your shipping address when placing your order. If an error is made in the shipping address and the parcel is sent back to us, additional shipping charges will be incurred.
Returns & exchanges
If, within 30 days from the date of purchase, you feel there are any defects or issues that affect the utility of your purchase, contact us at contact@thewriteactions.com so we can help to resolve these with you in a satisfactory way. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us ahead of time and we will be happy to help! We will send you an order confirmation email as another opportunity to review your purchase prior to shipping. Contact us ASAP if you require assistance.
We want you to be really happy with your purchase, and encourage you to look at our website for the items that will bring you the most benefit.
Time sensitivity
Time sensitive orders should select expedited shipping at checkout. While parcels are sent by us to you quickly, delivery times can vary, especially during holidays or weather emergencies. Please contact us before placing an order if you have any concerns.
Damage on arrival
If your item is damaged when you receive it, please send pictures and/or a video to contact@thewriteactions.com along with your name, order number, and a brief summary of the issue. We will get back to you as soon as possible to walk you through next steps. Please ensure the product is packaged carefully (in the original packaging if possible) to protect it from damage during return shipment. Thank you!
Wrong address
If you discover the wrong address was submitted during checkout and the parcel is sent, please contact us ASAP. Undeliverable parcels will be returned to us and result in an additional cost (return fee + cost to re-send the parcel to the correct address).
Order marked as delivered but not received
Although it is uncommon, this error can occur. Please immediately contact the carrier (e.g., UPS, Canada Post or USPS) or your local post office with your tracking number. If there is no resolution within 7 days, please email us at contact@thewriteactions.com.
If you have concerns about parcel theft, email us after placing your order to request 'signature upon delivery'. Please note we cannot be held responsible for parcel theft and your insurance (credit card or renter’s/home) may be able to support you.
Pre-orders with in stock orders
We ship orders together whenever possible to minimize packaging and carbon emissions. Please place separate orders for in-stock and pre-order items, and you can reference your second order number in the notes section to coordinate them. Can I order a gift sent directly to the recipient?
Yes please! Use the note area at checkout to let us know and we are excited to be part of your thoughtfulness. Make sure that your details are in the billing area, but the gift recipient's address is in the shipping area. We welcome you to state a short greeting or include the recipient’s name to put the finishing touches on your order.
